Wild Brown Bear Centre has a total of 21 hides from which you can observe and photograph the wildlife. These hides are only a short 700m walk from the main lodge, and a level wooden path guides the way to the hides. Due to the Wild Brown Bear Centre having the most hides of its kind in the area, there is no limitation to the amount of photographs that can be made, with stunning backgrounds and scenery, making for interesting and unique shots.
Four observation hides have been specifically built for wildlife watching and observation. These are larger than the photography hides and offer seating for up to 10 people per hide. As they are on a slight incline they provide a fantastic view out over the wetland area.
The other 17 hides have been built purposely for photography (see here), These hides are stationed in the best areas for photographing the wildlife, up close and personal. For photographers these hides offer an outstanding opportunity to observe and capture images of the wildlife in its natural habitat.
The hides are very well equipped with bedding and full amenities for the duration of your stay. Large openings maintain a wide angle of view for your camera or binoculars. It is important to state that due to the design of the hides, either a tripod or ball-head assembly can be used inside the hide. This design also allows for increased legroom for additional comfort.
